Have just had my newly refurbished virgos and new tyres fitted to my car. Cant believe the difference they make. Best £100 (for the wheel refurb) I have spent since getting the car. I'm hoping that the brake dust wont stick to the wheels as much now they have been powder coated.

The gray looks very stealth and the Virgos go with that quite well. Nice
ride Ian. Is your car a GLT? I ask because you have the bumper stripes
on the front and back.
Enjoy the road,

It is extremely rare that I'm impressed by a stock 240, but that car is frickin sweet looking.

Yes the car is a GLT. The stripes are a recent addition to the car, Got them from my local dealer.

It's a 1988 car.

Very nice. I am tempted to refinish my virgos once I put on snow tires.
Man now I want to add headlight wipers too... just because
Very neat indeed! :)
Now, only one thing you might want to look out for ... powdercoat doesn't completely resist brake dust. Apparently it's a little porous; a few of the more exxy aftermarket wheels get a coat of clear over the top of the powder, just to keep the brake dust out. This is something I found out about after doing exactly the same thing as you did.
However, it does need to stay on there for a while before it 'gets in' to a point where you can't just clean it off. And it does wipe off pretty easily. So it's probably worth making sure you give the wheels at least a quick wipe-down every fortnight or so ... mine were looking as-new when I sold the car, 2-3 years after I had the wheels done.
