Are you planning on keeping the green? looks great BTW. The GT grille looks a litttle strange without any foglights in it, looks a little naked without foglights, though you are reassured once you get a clear view of the powerstroke IC behind it. Did you get the flathood from a GT? It seems like you could reuse the old headlights unless you like the single rounds. You are using LH 2.0 correct? I like how neatly it is all assembled, sure it isn't completely painted but it is all done pretty neatly. I like it when you see a big scary IC and such, but it doesn't look like a beater with a huge IC, it all looks nicely assembled. Is the acura bumper going to be changed? I am not compleetly sure how it works, it looks ike it ttucks under somewhat awkwardly, but I just have a hard time seeing how it works form the picture. I will love to see this thing painted, the prep is great.

Lookin good Kenny, quality work. Man I just can't get over how huge the Powerstroke IC is! I like the colorshifting paint on the valve cover ;)

Thanks for the comments guys.
The bumper is still "awkward" I agree. Multiple reasons for that.
1)It's freakin red. ;)
2) I actually think it's TOO big. that bottom black lip on the bottom is going to be removed/replaced with something smaller.
3)The biggest part- It hasn't actually been integrated into the body work yet, it just "ends" where the bumper ends, it cuts short as it shoul wrap around the front of the car and terminate by blending into the front fenders. The acura, being a more modern car and FWD for that matter, has its front wheels placed much closer to the front of the car, so the spoiler just never wrapped around far enough. I'm actually splicing material in to extend the sides of the bumper, it's all cut it just needs a little tweak and to be fiberglassed together from the inside.
Once that's done I think you'll be looking around for an R-sport badge on it. ;)

Thats lookin' gooooood...
Did you paint the valve cover blue? It looks like it in one picture. Just can't tell exactly though (color blind)
What did you use on the manifold? man, that looks awsome!!

crap keep forgetting to email. is it this wekend you're down? no, i think it's a while. Anyways you can stay here. But I'll email ya back.
Intake is a "plating" paint. shiny shiny. LOL.
The reason you can tell what color the valvcover is, is becuase it changes color with light and angle as Dustin mentioned.
oh also, the flat hood did not come from a GT, or any other car for that matter. i found it as new old stock, my car is the onlty car it's been on. :D
And i'm keeping the green at least for now- largely becuase it's fun to have people be like "uhhh.. are you keeping it that color?". Funny stuff.
I'm had enough comments about the red bumper today to convince me to fix it today though. lol

that integra bumper looks 'dope.' 8) obviously one you finishing make it flush with the fenders it will look better, but still, looking at the front, and the angle is makes compared to that of the flathood grille. it also looks to be pretty close in dimension to the fenders. its f-ing nice. im in love.
what is the length (left to right, maybe its the width?) of that black bottom lip? i want to see if it will fit on my GT front spoiler.

hey thanks. Have had mostly negatives on the acura spoiler.
Encouraging, as I know it ain't great now, but I'm a man of vision :x:
Helps when someone see the potential. I took the bottom lip off today, and it just so happens my 242 has a GT spoiler on it.
I'll fire it on and take a pic for ya. heck if it works good then i have a backup bumper if i decide the acura bumper is beyond repair. lol

yeah i was going to ask at first if it fit the GT spoiler, overthinking the fact that you may not have one, but you do. i should've known better.
"I know it ain't great now, but I'm a man of vision" :werd:
if you decide against the acura bumper, wrap it up in cardboard and send it down here. email me or get my address from jordan.
