Mod: please feel free to move this to OT if it's not supposed to be here being a non-Volvo.

So this car has joined the fleet. It's my aunt's car, she's the original owner, and she wanted it to find a good home. 68, 318 2bbl, 125k, unmolested. Needs a bit of work, but for it's age, it's actually in pretty good shape!

Comments welcome. It's actually going to be more of my dad's project for now, with me and my brother helping him out when possible. Now to get the wagon to where it'll keep up with this thing once it's in good running condition....
BTW, it'll most likely end up being more of a restore than a modified car, though I'm sure a few things will get modded (poly bushings, maybe a set of sways, etc). It'll be weird as there's much more stuff readily available and MUCH cheaper than for our bricks. Full front/rear poly bushing/tie rods/ball joints package runs around $250!!

Needs more tube frame with altered wheelbase and 426 Hemi. :-P Or stick one in the back. (http://www.couleeregionmopars.com/IMAGES/hemiunderglass.jpg) Or, my real choice would be a full pro touring setup with a hotrods to hell truckarm rear suspension (http://hotrodstohell.net/) and the new "hemi" in front of a Viper 6 speed and a 9-inch out back for teh quick gear swaps, massive brakes, and some of these (http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/4748/reemz5xd.jpg) from www.wheelvintiques.com in like 17s. That would be sweet. All I ask is that it gets driven, because trailer queens suck. And where's the burnout pics??

Well, for starters, it JUST joined my immediate family from the original owner. It's also going to stay relatively stock instead of going wild. It's somewhat of a 'final request' type situation with the car, based on reasons I care not to discuss, other than it's from a relative who means a lot to the entire family and we want to restore it to it's original glory rather than go stupid fast with it. Also no burnout pic's as it ain't even running right. Maybe I'll try it once it's running reliably on all 8, but until then...
