I was thinking about putting yellow fog lights in place of the non-working ones currently in the grill of my GT.
I looked around a little and can't find any that will fit in the place of the original ones.
Does anyone know where I can get these?

I was looking into this a few weeks ago... It seems you can buy the right foglights off ebay with the amber lenses. I didn't measure mine to check the size, but they looked right. I hear the only ones that fit are original Bosch foglamp. I know blu99---- (don't really know his full username) has yellow lenses on his GT fogs.

EDIT:
I just measured my original GT Bosch fogs. -about 3.5" x 6.5" The opening are just a bit bigger, 4" x7.25".
It appears these will fit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOSCH-FOG-TOURING-LIGHTS-VINTAGE-NEVER-USED-AMBER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33709QQitemZ80126 08223QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

The Hellas seem too big.

I'm not so sure that it's a particularly good place for foglights though; aren't they supposed to be down really low, both because the fog tends not to sit on the road, and because then it gets thrown a bit further forward before the light gets reflected back at you?

The Hella 530's fit. They are slightly larger but thats actually good, cause they kinda hold the grille in place. I am assuming your grille has broken mounting tabs? They all do ;-)

Actually, it appears I can only offer photographic evidence of the right one fitting at this point. But trust me, they both fit.

well, the mounting tabs ssorta keep it in place. nothing keeps it in place like the fog lamp brackets!! i have to bend my grill just to get it out... which cracks the grill even more. dammit those things are fragile.

That's about where they sit on a late model 760. The DOT lamps with their 25 or so watt bulbs were useless. One of these days I'll put some H3s in and see how well the e-code fogs work.

That said, even the knockoff e-codes are pretty damn reasonable in thie awful San Francisco fog. Even then, I was down to about three feet of visibility on my way home on Monday morning for a while there.

Yeah, that's something I've never quite understood; you're sure they're fogs & not drivers?

Yes. Dan Stern seems to like the beam pattern on the e-code version fogs, so I assume that mounting fogs on the top of your bumper isn't the worst thing you can do.

It would be very difficult to confuse the DOT fog lamps with driving lamps. At 27 watts, it's hard to illuminate much of anything with them.

Oh, you go to European Auto Service too? I noticed the magnet on your hood...

I thought you were supossed to remove the fog lamps before removing the grille. that way nothing gets broke. I have two GT grilles, the first one broke because a bird flew right into it as I was driving down the free way. :(
I was able to repair it however :)

I usually loosen the whole radiator support and unbolt where the fog lamp brackets from the radiator support. How you remove the foglamps before the grill? can you tilt them enough to unbolt?

I remove the headlamp surrounds first, and you can unbolt the foglamps before removing the grille.
