I can't remember when I took this pic, it was within couple of weeks, I havn't drove the car for about 3 weeks now, this is what I found out to be the best combination of height, drive-ability. The height is barely one index finger between wheel and fender at front, and about 1 and tiny bit of finger at back. It barely rubs and all, and I just washed the car when I took the pix.

it looks so shiny in the pic for some reason:

edit: The fronts are Koni yellows, rear are KYBs still, Bilstein coming soon, probally gonna get re-valved. And the wheels are 18x8 with about 10mm offset, 225/35/18 tires. Its a good height, looks good, drives good.

Not bad.

Missed three things that are right there to see.

You'd have to be really good to catch the decor panel, 244DL emblem, previously installed windshield trim (now missing), and removed rear lower valence since they're not shown. Also, long front wheel studs which aren't noticable.

And my ace in the hole just in case anyone came close...giant quarter panel dent. :-P

My girlfriends brother actually has a holden Maloo ute riding on 19's and he has completely taken the springs out of the car in the back, i call him an idiot... hes literally got the chassis riding on the bump mounts (or whatever that rubber is above the springs, one on the axel) it is rediculously low, u can barely fit ur hand under the car. For all you none australians its this car here (not the exact one, but same model and colour and similar rims: http://www.boostcruising.com/readersrides/entry/6/7146.html
in fact it similiar rims but 19's not 20's and it also has a big rear wing like this http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/images/5octhsv10.JPG

Yeah I caught the 244DL emblem when I signed in so I put it in the quote.

That is friggin perfect right there. I think I'm liking lower+17's more than higher+18's

The key to that shot is the 32mm rear spacers. With the 23's, it just doesn't look nearly as good.

true- offset is a huge factor as well.
