I could've been another one - but the missus moved in with me instead of me moving down to Lincoln. Was there last weekend mind you - Christmas party season yeah!
I might be able to make a meet-up, but to be honest I want to get the damned turbo back on my 940! (Plus the oil lines, timing belt, engine mounts, headlamps, new tyres...)

Coolio.
Scary how close me and ford-88 are. About 3 miles. lol.
Thunder - Mine is getting a new turbo this weekend.
We're kinda running out of time here. Anyone got a set date in mind.

Well i'm pretty much snaffued for weekends really now, This weekend coming is really the only free weekend i have left now before xmas (there is only 2), the other is taken up with work and a party.
Allthough saying that this saturday morning i'm gonna help SteveP pull a leather interior from a scrapyard near me, so that takes up some of this weekend.
So realistly i can only do something perhaps this weekend coming.

I was there a couple of months ago. I think most of the TBricks crowd have tried a top-speed run along that straight road across the dam wall.

Yea, it's quite good there, I'm often there with my cousins to do a bike ride all the way around the whole lake which takes over two hours, have you lot go there often or not?

We've never been there for a meet, but I've been there with my friends (since I lived in Derby for 3 years), and Rupert (TheJoyOfSix) takes people up there for 'performance testing' when they come to visit.

You just want to test out your big turbo :-P I say we wait until we've got a few more cars with more work done first - Chesh with a bigger turbo, Griz (maybe by then) with 'the engine', and Dokeh with his 15G...plus of course the manualised 760! Heck, if we wait long enough, I might have boost...
