DC Area meet/GTG next weekend? [Archive]

Anyone in the Nova/DC/Maryland area want to have a meet next Saturday? I am going to be stopping in there for the day/night with the V70R I am picking up in Philly and I know there are alot of you guys in the area.

I've got no idea where anything is over there as far as places to have a meet, so anyone got any ideas?

I actually got offered to have a fakie made up a few weeks ago, declined to buy parts from SAM instead.

Maybe I can put on a fake beard and look older.

Is D&B 21+? If not that'd probably work good for those of us under or over 21.

We will be partying at Mike P's International House Of Scrapple on Saturday the 17th, from 9am on.
Stop on down and we can do a cruise of the wildlife refuge. Several million acres, and 2 DNR cops. Maybe even see the Casa del P.

The plan is to get as many people together as possible, you can carpool if you want. Then you can take the party to DC.
Patrick can come down here after getting the car, and then follow you guys back.

OK. Thought you were cookin something up besides scrapple. We'll have to see what Pat wants to do, since that is a bit of a drive. But I'm up for it since I have some more engine stuff to deliver (hopefully FCP will straighten out my order by then).

I'm fine with whatever- Mike is in Delaware, right? I could probably meet up with everyone there since it is on the way down, hang out there for a while and head down with everyone to the DC area after that.

I live at the south end of Delware, I work in Cambridge, MD.
Go South on Rt. 13/ Rt. 1 Dover, then Southwest at Seaford. Roughly 100 miles from Wilmington. I can give you better directions, and a phone number to call.

sounds good, although I'm not going to have either one of my cars. I'll probably drive my sisters 92 244 (boo slushbox) I was planning on heading down to richmond to check out andy's racecar and to continue to pursuade him to build me an engine.

Lets get a plan going on.

Billy and I will roll up Saturday afternoon sometime for the night. Lets plan on doing something in the DC area that evenin' perhaps? I can't commit all of Saturday, I've got too much going on, but I want to get up there and hang out with everyone (And our special guest, mwuahaha!) and pick up my new goodies from Greg and Rob.

So, anyone up for a post-Mike's get together? Dave & Busters then go crash Dana's new house? That sounds like a nice plan!

Mike, you know I'd love to roll up there, I just can't commit the day to it, I need the morning for helping James (Quickbrick) work on his truck and college apps.

OK, we'll get booted out of Dave and Busters at 11 because all under 21 are kicked out then. Ben has graciously agreed to allow us to crash his pad and take advantage of his large finished basement with lots of couches and a bigscreen TV, so that sounds like the plan right now...

Bought a phone. Paid too much. Talked to Patrick. The new car is hot.
I will be there 9-ish. I have to go to the machine shop at 7:30 to get Towery's block out of hock.

*edit: Lax, were you talking about the Northern VA part? My guess is near dark, anyway.

I already didn't not give you an approximate time...

Between "already in Bethesda" and 10pm+. Some of them live there, some are coming from Richmond, some are coming back from Mike's, some are coming from work/home outside of Bethesda.
