BURRITO BASH: Portsmouth NH Feb 4th Meet

[bad news]

Bundle up, jump some juice to that battery and head for

Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Febuary 4th

for the Tbricks North East Midwinter Burrito Bash meet.


We will be meeting up at 2 pm at the Portsmouth traffic circle state liquor store. While approaching from the north or south on route 95, you need to take the exit clearly marked "Portsmouth traffic circle", I believe it is exit 5, perhaps 6. The liquor store is pretty impossible to miss, it's right on the circle.

Due to the New England climate, there will be a limited window of opportunity to make the meet up at the circle. I fully predict that everyone is not going to want to screw around there forever exposed to the elements. So be aware that...

Around 2:30 to 2:45 we will head into downtown and shift the Swedish Circus to the Portsmouth Parking Garage. There should be ample photographic opportunity in this more sheltered climate.

From there we will proceed on foot to DOS AMIGOS BURRITOS for our Daily Dos. I will laugh as one of you scorns their hottest sauce and then finds out it's not that weak after all.

From there we will procede on foot to view the various sights and sounds of the Portsmouth downtown, including a variety of eateries and stores.

After that....get lost, becasue none of you bastids are sleeping on MY couch. :rofl:

Take note there are plenty of fine post Dos places.... the red door (right next door) for a relaxed atmosphere, typically laid back music and martinis. The Portsmouth Brewery (not the one we went to last meet) where they have a nice downstairs lounge with pool, table shuffleboard (best game ever) and of course fine beer and drinks. Muddy River (plenty of good local music). And a host of other more bar-ish with dancefloor places that I dont really reccomend.

Also take note that our illustrious host "Parry" will be turning the big Dos-Uno?? ...21... on Jan 31st... so we will have to at least buy him one drink (if we can break him down)

If the bar scene is not your thing, I reccomend a stop into the finest record shop in the seacoast... Bull Moose Music... they have 90% of anything you could ever want... and that other 10% they will gladly order for you.

Well I'm please to annouce that next meet I'll probably be free to roam on weekends...as I will stop working 7 day a week...and don't forget that a simple trip from maine to NH is what 100 miles round trip...if I skip town for NH it's more like a 6 hour drive...so I prefer to leave for a weekend...sleep over and come back...and that's when the weather is nice..and car is in good shape...
