I would like to do a big volvo meet in california. (I know...who wouldnt?). any I deas on when and where? I realize this thread is short and unprofessional, but the first two sentences (minus the stuff in parenthasis) says it all. :cool:

Already happened back in October, and there was quite a meet over the weekend at Doug's.

Highly doubt 50 cars is possible.

Between Volvospeed/Turbobricks we pulled in about 32 back in October. Was'nt really easy either.

thats why I wanna set this up waaaaaaaaaaay in advance. as long as people are willing to drive, and its on a convenient date, I dont see why it cant happen

I set the October "Brickfest" meet a little over 3 months in advance.

I made a convient date, and I had people come all the way from Seattle. 50 ain't gonna be easy.

Pat's meet ROCKED and I can only guess how much planning went into it! It WAS small, but there was still a lot of people and good times were had by all from what I saw. Hopefully you can get some input on a date, but just be aware tha ton here as well as a lot of other boards that things happen and events seem to have a high rate of fallout as the date approaches.

I wish you the best of luck, and I'll try and be there if I'm available once a date is set!
