Burgerball XXVVIIX - March 11th, 06', My Place [Aptos, CA]

Decided to start planning the annual "Flood Pat's Neighborhood w/Volvos" BBQ/GTG little in advance [should give everyone plenty of time to clear their schedueles]. Date is fairly set right now at Saturday, March 11th.

It's gonna be the same deal as last year. BBQ/GTG at my house in the early afternoon, followed by a drive [new route this year, Hecker Pass, no dead ends, no pissed off hobo's yelling at us, no turns to lead half the group in the wrong direction].

Probably will be doing some partying Saturday night as well. Hotel, or maybe I can find a house.

I always have a few guys coming down for these meets from Seattle [from Volvospeed] and a bunch from Southern California as well as Arizona. If I have people coming from that far away I always make sure it's worth it.

I would love to take my 244 but i really dont know how reliable it is for THAT far of a drive. I might just have to do it next year instead... i really dont know. that'd be a really expensive and potentially dangerous trip with a car that i am not sure is up to the task... i'll think about it though.

I just realized what's odd with that picture... it's not the burgers with teeth, it's the need to radial blur those wheels, so the motion blur for the background makes sense.
