ok hoes i'm gonna be back in cali for one day maybe even just a few HOURS to pick up my new pimp wagon and do a few little things before i drive it back to AZ SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo


anyone in socal(old tbricker crew even the new crew guys are invited) that has nothing to do any wants to hang for however long it be show up @ kanes place on sat .... or give me a call tomorrow 562 773 8148 and find out where i am and what's going on. i'm trying to get a ride to cali sometime friday, stay the night someplace that night and then go to kanes in the AM to do some final things to the wagon before i leave for AZ around 3pm(so i can PRAY i make it back for new years with the wife and kid)


SO ... anyone??? the beast will be left back in AZ so no you can't have a ride in it haha



and catch is i might need a place to stay on friday night .. along w/ whereever i stay i need a ride from there to kanes(in walnut off the 60/57)

YA can always stay at my place mike....ive got some basic MSnS knowledge, considering my car is squirted....whats the plan like tomarrow? im gonna try my darndest to get my 242 back together the only thing is is needs a tailshaft bushing and seal, which i have....but i weary about driving it any distance...so ya.....pm me your addy kane..and im sure ill be seein ya tomarrow.

Go fig the rain started when Mike and Mark got here, but they pulled it off. Both engine mounts, tranny mounts, belts, and cooling system. Left about 1/2 hour ago ... Mike with a near full load of Harry's junkyard parts on the way back to AZ.

400 miles later, some vibrations through the steering (I'm blaming the odd tire ... PO had a blowout, so there are 3 near new tires, and a used on the front left), and still a lumpy idle, but Mike got back home safely about an hour ago. I think at this point, the tab is still under $750.

As for the touches I put in between me buying it a couple weeks ago and today ... just 21 zip ties, none of which replaced a proper screw or nut either.
- 6 were used for the rear seat, replacing hog rings and the seat fold-down mechanism.
- 3 for the glove box/dash panel, cracked at the latch and mounting points.
- 11 for the rear hatch panel. All but one mounting point has busted apart, and is cracked in several additional areas, so this panel would've been trash otherwise.
- 1 is holding up the rear muffler(!), so Mike, let us know if this one made it through!
