Well after the success of fitting the alloys on saturday, I thought i'd push my look and do a few odd jobs, some of which i've been meaning to do since I bought her.

firstly, well it was actually a few weeks ago but i got them over christmas, change dial bulbs to super bright LEDs, courtesy of Ryan.

After:

secondly, sunday from now on, put blue anodised effect valve caps on new alloys.

After:

Thirdly, replace old, cheap and nasty tax disc holder with new shiny blue one.

Before;

and lastly replace passenger side rear light cluster with new one due to it being faded and scuffed, most obvious is on the reversing light.

Still to do:

replace passenger side headlamp lense, due to stone chip.

clean up and paint edge of alloys

I always mocked valve stem upgrades, until I found a set with the Volvo logo on them. Now I mock myself...

Do you guys not have the little plastic clip on the inside of the windshield that I previously thought had no purpose?

Damn that's a long sentence.

Looks like you're missing a few LED's in the dash, but maybe thats just me....it looks like the top isn't illuminated, atleast the other side of it is illuminated now. Lookin good though.

It is actually a Volvo Accessory that you can still get from the dealer called a "Document Holder". Presumably for holding parking passes and such.

and ours are on the other side, the drivers side.

Glad you like the those leds. They were way too dim on my car (see pic below) but seem to have come up trumps on yours

Yep. We have to display a disc showing when our road tax expires on all our cars so that we can report each other when we forget to renew it!! ;-)
