Work has begun on the 92 245 that I bought at the start of the year. Got it for $200 and drove it home with the catalytic converter dragging on the ground and sparking like crazy.
Not too much has been done yet, I'm starting with a good cleaning and then for major work I'm going to swap motors, install Megasquirt, and probrably rewire most of the car. I highly doubt it's going to be on the road this year though.
Now for the pics

Carpets removed, cleaned and drying inside. Don't know why the first picture has those orbs all over the place though.

This won't be in there for long

The seat foam is in pretty good shape, I'll add a layer of felt to the old foam to reinforce it.

Thanks for the comments!
Cars got 223K on it. Engine runs good but it's going to be removed for a non squirter B230FTor a squirter if I can find one for cheap. I have not decided on a turbo yet, I don't really no what to choose or what will provide good performance while still bolting up to the Volvo 90+ mani.
My goal will be reached if I can get a 13.99 or better with this thing.
BTW if for some reason anyone wants the motor they can take it once I get it out.
As for the cleaning, the car was dirty but nothing was really damaged, the front door pockets are still intact and perfect, the console is not broken, and the seats and carpets are in great shape. When I took the carpets out I just sprayed them with carpet cleaner and sprayed them off with the hose.
Damn lucky for those parts to not be damaged, I'm looking at making my own ones now out of wood as I can't justify the cost of it and the hassle of getting them for a tan interior.
Nice looking and it's gonna be nice when it's done...

Wire brush and POR-15 the tailgate, then just mask off and paint the bottom edge flat black or something.

looks familiar...fun fun. The wiring harness is a maint sorta deal? Or more a custom management or additional electronics sorta deal?
The 240 fuse box is um..exciting.

There's nothing wrong with the wiring that's in there (well, was in there), it's more of a I want to know how the car is wired up, and I want it as simple as possible type of thing.

AC evaporator. Bit dirty, I'm a fan of cabin filters, too bad Volvo didn't fit one to these cars.

Inside the evaporators home, you can see the heater core, once again, dirt city.

In those pics I've pretty much totally gutted the interior and cleaned it all out. Goo everywhere from kids which really gives me the icky chills, one of those OCD type things I've got, everything of mine has to be clean.
The Door panels where cleaned, along with all the dash pieces and what not, pretty much every single part of the car has been cleaned. It's going to look awesome when finally re assembled.

Not shown in the pictures.
Started re assembling the dash today, got the new heater core in and got the airbox sealed up again and back in the dash. I rebiult the motor and it now blows a TON of air and is super quiet!
I started running the new wiring harness today and got the rear section all wired up.
The front section's lights and stuff will be next, along with figuring out the turn signals which are pre wired for a GM car.

Got the fust box mounted today, it even fits where the stock fuse panel goes, and the door still clips on with no interferance.

Got all the wires routed and started hooking things up. Got the headlights, turn signals, high beams, tail lights, and license plate lights hooked up. I'm going to get the dash in next and start hooking wires up to their respective places permanantly.
Overall it's been a sucessful 4 days of workin on the car. I've got to go back to work on monday, so I'll pick at it during the week and get more done during the weekend.
