Yeah I can't see anything...
At the Richmond meet back in August of last year my temp guage pegged itself past the red because my fan went out and I was hot-doggin it through downtown with mayday and wildmanben's brother in the car, I didn't realize it.... Car never smoked or died or anything, which makes me question the guage. Now I have MS though so I know for sure what the temp is :)

maybe the stuff you had back in the day was better than my day, i dunno.

last pic is stunning,
i had temp gauge issue the other day, it was up to 210F and my fan hadn't come on. turns out the road salt had filled the fuse block for the fan and cut it off

Thank you. Sometimes I think saying how you do things diminishes the effect. lol. This last one was done with an IR filter. It's like blood red and blocks most of the visible light. I really learned to love a red filter back when I had a film b&w photo class. Both with the camera and in the dark room. The IR filter has a lot of the same effect. Cuts through haze, very defined look, and a lot of contrast. Have to do a little photoshop work to make them look like correct IR pics. Flop the red and blue channels which I have done on the one above. Ultimately converting to B&W for probably best effect. The IR filter is best done on a sunlit day, more clouds the better. Sky will be very dark and clouds very bright. The green foliage will have a glow. Lots of fun. The last pic is 3 pictures merged together for one big panorama. Have it in bigger file size if anyone is interested.
