On ebay they have a 240 Momo hub adapter for '82-88 240's. I know they started the airbags in '89 IIRC. Will this fit in my '78 without a problem?

I did a search and it sounds like ashvolvo has put one in his '79 without problems, just want to see if anyone else has had success doing this aswell.

Thanks!

For those of you who have to see a pic in Showroom...

This will be fine. I used the same steering wheel hub/boss in both my '79 245 wagons as well as my '90 240 sedan.

Also with this hub, can you use any momo steering wheel?

No worries.
All momo wheels should have the same bolt pattern, so if you buy a momo branded hub you wont have any issues regardless of which particular momo wheel you buy.

The hub I have isnt a momo, but it has a momo stud pattern - I couldnt get a momo hub at the time I bought mine (about 8 years ago).
Finish on the one I bought wasnt as nice as the momo ones I've seen and required a bit of grinding to fit nicely, rather than scrape, on the plastic steering column surround.

Cheers,
Ash
