so i want to put my R-sport wheel in the 262, and i had a couple questions.

do i need different trim for around the column where it meets the dash or is it the correct fit already?

is it basically just a matter of undoing the nut, unhooking the horn wiring, and putting the new one on? it looks like it, but it sounds too easy to be true... i did a search but came up empty handed.

that should be about it. The hub will cover match up (the Rsport hub) to the column.

you can kind of see the same idea here

sometimes teh wheel cna be stuck on and you may need a wheel puller. but generally some real hard yanking does teh trick.

remembering of course NOT to fully remove the nut from the shaft before you pull on the wheel to loosen it on the spline .... unless of course you want to wear the wheel inbedded in your face

been there, done that

Depening on your hub it mght be some plastics missing... They're often lost durng the years and owners of the steering wheel...
