Installed the Sparco seat i had over the weekend. With some help from reeferman we got some brackets fabbed up.
Man is it hard to get into the car! but oh is it worth it when you do! Enjoy!

it is soo hard to get into the car with a real racing seat....lol like you seriously have to arch your back and what not.
but it really really holds you in, you wont move at all. helps you take turns more aggressively IMO since your not sliding around.
overall it was better than my GT seat that had no back support. i havent really taken long trips in it so i couldnt tell you how it is on long trips but i couldnt imagine anything worse than my gt seat.
but its also not the comfiest seat. its not leather padded or anything, nothing luxurious, if you want a nice comfy racing seat you'll have to buy the higher end ones like the torino or something. but for my application and what im going to be doing with the car the seat works fine.
i think its time for a quick release steering wheel.

Is that a Sparco 'Sprint' seat?
I have a Cobra 'Monaco S' seat in my 240 which is very similar to the Sparco you have.
Agreed it can really be a pain to get in and out of, but as you're already well aware, the difference it makes to keeping you held in is amazing!
Looks great, the topc photo is nice and artistic too. :)

Very nice, cool car as well! Do all your rear passengers have to get in through the passenger seat? and nice GT interior!

no i think i can slide the seat up far enough for some ladies to slip in.
but either way i dont take passengers in that car. interior may go here soon when i build my cage and run harness' for the seats.

Whats up with the tires though? Looks underinflated.
And I think I'm going to steal your arrow sticker on the bumper idea.:)

i do like sparco's and all, but i just hate it when theres only one. i guess its cause i like symmetry or something but it looks SO odd with only one seat.

Man is it hard to get into the car!
Are you kidding me? That's a park bench of a racing seat. You can just roll right out of that.
:-P This takes practice, but is not hard to slither into.

yea, i learned the tricks quick, after the first time "plopping" down on to side bolster with half of me in the seat and half out....
i love my momo, wouldnt trade it for anything and its only going to be better once i get some real belts in place, or perhaps a real suspension system....

Rob's seat in the Bertone was hard to get into what with the low roof and all.

yea, i want my rear to clear the side sills on the seat, i can occasionally hit my head on the roof. i could see a bertone being slightly more annoying in that aspect.
