So, I finally got a little time to do some work on the hooptie.

I even got a little time to find another FTP client and got my camera software installed.

So, in celebration of these two events, I present my ride:

Yeah, it's dirty but it's not much more than a good Saturday afternoon won't fix (well, a little paint wouldn't hurt - but I got other fish to fry right now :-P )

Finally got the rear mostly done. Still needs a little work:

Oh yeah! (I swear I am really gonna clean it one of these days :-D

Oh yeah, and this is my lady friend that brought me groceries the other day:

(I am so glad this girl is my friend - she is the sweetest person I know, seriously)

And for the fellas who figured out that an NPR would fit in a Volvo :werd:

Thanks, but I wouldn't go that far. It still needs a lot of work. But, it is a decent car that gets good mileage (despite the obnoxious 60% leakdown) and I still bust on Hondas everyday (Actually last night, I though I was gonna drive up on the trunk of one of those OZ Lancers, no biggie really but I thought it was an EVO at first then I hit third and realized he was out of steam  ).

Ben thinks it's the end of my world because my car isn't "as fast as his". (He's really in denial of how sick my car is on the 2-3, 3-4 pull, + his car's got no OD, so when I am in front of him, I stay in front of him

Anyway, I just want it to look good, smell decent, not smoke, leak or make funny noises.

Then, I want it to lay down 250 on the ground and get 20+ MPG in the city when my foot's not in it.

So, the next big step is the 91 "F+T", 17c and m47. Then, I'm gonna drop in a newer model A/C setup and when I pull the dash to rewire, (I have to rewire to swap in a manual tranny because I mounted my aux fuse block to the brake pedal frame ) I will add a new evaporator and heater core.

Like I said, it still needs work. It's an 83 Volvo that I bought for 500 bones. It's never gonna be perfect (and in fact I am not striving for that end).

I just like hearing this thing scream at 13lbs. I gotta see what's up with me not making 15 anymore - probably really bad leakdown, but I do have some questionable vacuum lines.

If I can get it to boost to 15 today, I'll see if Mr. Flynn will let me make a video with his camera.

I feel the exact same way about my 242. The b21ft is pretty tired, but its so much fun hearing it roar at 18 psi. plus, 2nd and third gear are insane.

EDIT: is your seat leaking foam like mine are?

Yeah man, always. I've never owned a 240 that didn't do this.

I got dibs on some Recaros in a 16V Golf right now. As soon as he gets some new seats, they are mine (for 200 dollars, installments allowed  )

haha, how much lower should it be? I drag it everywhere I go. Stupid 3 inch exhaust

No subs for now.

I replaced the back to make up for the hideous barfball blue that was mutilated by crayola.

In fact, the whole interior used to be blue. Seems like it was soo long ago...

I spotted the monster crack drink.

Just wait for the 17c! Then like Ben you will be limited by traction and wanting a locker.
