OK i recieved a free b23e recently and i would like to take a crack at this high compression turbo thang.

problem 1: 10:1 compression. will i be able to even get 12psi out of it? can i take some metal out of the combustion cambers to lower CR(scp head)?

problem 2: warped head, not a problem. swap my turbo head on it. but the problem is i have a VX3 in my head on the turbo, but the b23e has, of course, a K cam. should i run the K cam with gear, or the VX3 with gear?

thank you for your help and i hope the make this work soon..

This makes a mockery of the fact that Kenny has put 20psi through a 9.8:1 engine with no problems. I don't think 2% more compression compared to Kenny's engine warrants added worry, let alone a new thread to rehash the issue. For the last time, use the K cam.

I think there was a thread for this already that explained everything about converting to turbo...at the top of the screen that this thread is on.

Then theres this: http://forums.turbobricks.com/viewtopic.php?t=7704

Does that answer your question?

Don't worry, run the K. You can switch later.
I know a guy running a 502 cubic inch Chevrolet in a boat, was 11:1, now 10.3:1, with a blower. With 11:1, he pushed the domes down on the pistons.
