Is anyone running this yet? I just got a MS v3 and want to know that I'm not killing my engine. What does this do? Does it pull fuel or timing or what? On his website it says that it is superimposed on the CLT signal to MS. But what does a high CLT signal do? Thanks for the help. Also how can you tell if a knock sensor is good off of the car? I would assume hooking up a DMM and tapping the bolt that runs through it with a metal hammer. Thanks again.

I believe it pulls timing based on how much you tell it to. I have been wanting to implement it but I never got around to it.

Quite a few people are using it
Along with the LED it has two additional outputs. One goes directly to MS board for timing retard when knock occurs

The circuitry shown on
http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/knock.html
Is no longer necessary. KnocksenseMS takes its place.
You have to use MS&S - Extra software

The CLT output is optional for dataloging knock events. It is constructed so that it superimposes a short negative going spike on coolant sensor line which is being logged by MS. Under no knock conditions the CLT line from Megasquirt measures the coolant temperature.
