Gotta be careful on this one! Some older 700 vehicles do not have a cutout under the badge! The 780's sometimes? do. When I replaced the fender on one, the old fender had no cutout, the newer one did. Go figure.

My old 83 760 v6 parts car did not have cut outs. I don't think my friends 84 764T had cutouts either.

thanks for the responses. im going to let the badges sit on the car i guess.

i was just getting weird in the garage trying to shave weight off the car and thought... less stuff outside always looks nice.

Am I the only one that installed the 400 series sidemarkers pointed in the original direction? (lens towards rear of the car) Just wondering cause I noticed a few others have it installed lens towards the front.

Looks good either way =]

I think ypu should get the "real" sidemarkers that "the poi" showed a picture of! They are on all the European cars!
