Decided the faded grey lower body fairings looked like crap, so I painted them black. The spray can said it was "satin" :-P I dont know about durability thus far, I prepped them by sanding with some 150 grit and it was still too rough, so I went up to 220 and wiped it down with denatured alcohol. I left it out in the sun to dry for a few days so it had a chance to cure well. I took the chance to straighten the sheet metal where the previous owner had ripped off the front two jack points and bent the mountings and got all the clay off of everywhere. Looks pretty good, stuck well. If it doesnt work I am going to just bedliner them, or I just might bedliner them anyways. I replaced the crappy plastic rivets with all stainless steel bolts and stainless steel lags to hold on the mud flaps. I also learned that if you detach it at the bottom, you can slide the molding to the rear and it will come off rather than risk breaking the plastic clips. I get sick pleasure out of replacing plastic with SAE SS bolts. :)

Looks good, visually it lowers your car's profile....now that it is painted remember not to put any dressing (Armor-all, etc) on it, the paint should adhere and last awhile as is...

Ya, I like stickers if they are original or from interesting places. AKA my fav independent artists, record stores, and surf shops. And some random others. I actually took a few off, I am going to just concentrate on plastering in the two side windows. The one on the t gate covers a dent I kicked in it when the gate hit me in the head for like the millionth time on a cold day and made me slide on some ice in the parking lot. I am keeping the chemicals off it, I drive on a lot of gravel though so I am keeping my expectations low. Future plans are fix the rear main seal(still, thats gonna be a large bill), exhaust(Muffler and cat, maybe delete the first muffler), hydralic supports for the rear hatch, an amp, fix the drivers seat, floor mats, and maybe some upgraded ignition parts and air filter, and maybe bedliner the top of the back bumper cause it looks terrible and has a fat spider crack in it.
