Not to long ago i posted a thread asking how to move my 82 turbo bumper back to fit the mold in the fenders better. I wasnt realy looking for the newer style bumpers as im not a big fan of them, so Befor i decided to start drilling and bracing my bumper struts i gave a couple things a shot. Turns out that if you use the bumper struts for the newer bumpers it will have the same effect.
"Minor" mods are required since the newer style bumper shocks only have 2 mounting holes. One hole lines up perfect but you then have to drill out the second hole. Took all of about 30 mins to complete this.
If anyone is interested i can post pics but thier is a white 244 on the ipd catalog cover that i am sure has had this done to it....
