Coolant temp problems

Anyone ever have any problems with the coolant temp circuit with ms? Mine gets random spikes up to over 300 degrees, and sometimes the higher the revs, the coolant temp sensor will jump 40-60 degrees in less than 1 second.

Mine spikes too and I have never figured it out. Mine will jump 20-30 degrees in a second, but I have never had it spike to 300F. Neither of my temp gauges reflect a spike in temperature.
