Cousins,
I've got an '83 242 Turbo and am thinking of building up a moderately massaged B230FT for it, and am considering MS. Am I correct in assuming (I've been lurking on TB and MS for just a couple of days now...) that you ditch the AMM of the LH2.X but retain the stock IAC motor and all other engine LH sensors? Then either use a front-mount hall-sensor distributor, or graft on a 60-2 wheel? And I would want to use MS-II for the above?

What if I wanted to MS the existing B21T while I build the B230FT - I would change over to the B230 intake w/injectors and use the existing distributor?

you ditch the mass meter, and i happened to ditch the stock IAC as well. I'm not really sure if you can use it with MS or not.

you don't need to alter any stockish redblock's dizzy location to get it to run with MS. if you have lh 2.4, you use the flywheel and if you have 2.2 or earlier you use a proper hall sensor dizzy in the stock location.

keep reading young jedi :-P

Um, the B230 block I have is from a LH2.2, and the flywheel will have to be changed, as the Turbo has a 4-speed. I'm thinking I'd have clearance problems with a cam-mounted dizzy.

Go blockmount distributor on your B230FT, it's easy to do... the hard part is finding a 2.2 distributor, gotta go JY diving. Check my sig for info on MSnS'ing a Kjet car.

Well that would be unstock then wouldn't it.
