This is an advanced warning that this could be somewhat broad as I don't have the car in front of me.

Anyways, I have been trying to resolve an issue that is not going away dealing with my MS's RPM signal cutting out which causes the car to back into cranking mode or to die or it hesitates REALLY BAD. I have done everything in terms of diagnosing MS and right now the only thing I can bring myself to is that my Hall Sensor may be on its way out. If anybody knows of any other possible reasons to why MS wouldnt get a good RPM signal please let me know... :)

BTW, this is a problem that wasn't around when i first got MS running about a month and a half ago, but this cutting in and out while driving has just gotten progressively worse until the point that it's at right now...

Any help would be great, thanks

do you have a 10ohm resistor between 12v and the dizzy?

and are you getting your tach signal directly off the - coil?

im just thinking of blunt things...

i didn't add a 10 ohm resistor. isn't that the purpose of the ballast resistor?

yes the signal is coming directly off of the negative terminal on the coil. i ran the stock coild for a couple weeks and then upgraded to a blaster 2. i have tried this coil and the original to make sure there wasn't any problem with the coil terminal.
