its a 240 turbo runs kind of ok needs work NO RUST its local

i was driveing past a place that dose oil changes and tire stuff and i saw a real old volvo and stoped to take pics with my phone

and i spoted in the back of the store there was a 740 and a 240 both turbos

he dident want to sell the 740 but i am more inturested in the 240 anyway

he wast $200 for the car and it has clean title

here is tha pic

now this is the car i stoped to look at

im trying to get $200 mom was in the hospital and insurance covered most of it but not all of it so.. we had to pay out of pocket

well i am planing on putting a 305 v8 in it.. lol from a 1987 chevy van and i might be in Wisconsin in June

you know if you do that the car will be slower than with the turbo 4 cyl right?

lol no it wont goin to do some motor work to it posable 300hp and a 5spd camaro trans

ford 9in rear end and order a drive shaft

goin to strip the insides only goin to have 2 seats both will be lightweight

5 point raceing seat belt

roll cage posably aluminum

so yea!!!!

if your having trouble coming up with $200 for the volvo...how will you pay for a swap? not trying to be a jerk but they are expensive when done right

Yes, as has been said, don't buy a 240T if your gonna swap the motor out man, buy a 244D or N/A 244 for that, but if your gonna work that motor, or stick in a later TUrbo motor, keep it.

well i went today to look for rust on it like under the back seat and in the trunk here are some more pics

LOOK MA NO RUST

ok while i was their i seen another brick in back
its a 145 wagon with taxes plates
its a rust bomb with paint over it with no grill and illigal tint lol

well if the guy that owns 240 owns the 145 im goin to ask if he can swap out rims
will thes rims bolt up on a 240 with out spacers?
and what kind of rims are these
