I have been hearing alot lately about aftermarket engine management. My 1982 242 tic is running 11psi on the stock CIS. I don't know very much about these systems they all seem to work well on EFI cars, So I know I should probably be adding additional fuel injectors, but how would you connect these into your stock fuel lines. I really just need the name or number of a system that will deliver more fuel on demand without removing the CIS or airbox.HELP More boost wanted!!!

I just MSed my B21FT. WHat you do is swap the old B21FT intake manifold with the later style B230 Manifold that has injector ports stock. Just grab the fuel rail from the manifold and the fuel pressure regulator. Just make sure you grab the 2.5 FPR as it only came on the turbo cars. MS is beyond simple yet with -Extra code it's as powerful or somewhat more than other piggyback systems, and yes it is reliable. I was in the same shoes as you except for my CIS K-Jet box died and I didn't want to invest in another crappy outdated fuel system. (Just my opinion, I hated K-Jet :) )

Good luck and search. The Aspirator (John) built a great B21FT running MS and more recently a B23. If there's anything it's gonna be on here or on msefi.com.

We have a bunch of cars on here running 12+ psi and using stock K-jet. MS is easier to tune but K-jet will do it set up correctly. You need to know if you are actually running lean though. K-jet will easily "overfuel" if you're not carefull.

I'm with Steve O. Beg, borrow or steal to get a wideband and find what your car is REALLY doing before assuming. I've seen plenty of boost potential from k-jet. MS is more effective, but you can make k-jet work fine.

I agree K-jet is crappy, and outdated but you have to admire the efficiency simplicity and reliability of it. Anyway I am planning to add a b-230 intake, are you saying I can take the stock fuel rail and injectors off a B-230 and control them with MS computer and they will work in harmony with the K-jet injectors or will I have to remove them too.
