Anybody heading out there? I'll be running the 140 this week, and the wagon again next week with the quirks HOPEFULLY worked out.
Come one, come all!!

I am probably going to bring the 242 N/A. I think Deb is going to run the 940 without all of the deadweight, like the speakers, the toolbox and ..... me! We think you brought the fix for Justin's car today (did ya?), if so, he'll run it I'm sure.

I brought that stuff in. HOPEFULLY it'll fix it. I don't have to do a heater valve right after work so I'm gonna cruise home, pick up my passenger and cruise out there. Wonder if I can keep up with Deb this time??? Doubt it but we'll see.

Have fun guys, and make my 940 proud. I once gteched a 15.9 with it on a very cold winter night (although I know those numbers are BS -- but it always felt like a fast 940). Anyways, I'd be there too... but I'm stuck in LA until the middle of the month.

After seeing it run last week WITH the extra couple hundred pounds of live and dead weight, it should do pretty good. Maybe high 16's?!?

Rennyloss of power/shudder under boost, from ~10psi on up. Feels *almost* like a spark blow-out.
I sold the SE. :-( It went to a good, Volvo loving home though.

When you say "almost" have you ruled that out then? How's the mixture up at those boost levels. Any chance you're going wacky rich? I had what I thought was spark blow out until I put it on the dyno and saw that I was in the 10s and sometimes dipping into the 9s.
Glad the SE went to a loving home. Hope she appears on the board soon sans' dent.

PS did you keep the spoiler or sell it with the car?

PS did you keep the spoiler or sell it with the car?Yup that aspect of it has been ruled out. It's K-jet, it's going to try to get wacky rich at WOT, but that seems to be the nature of the beast when an air metering plate has direct control over fuel supply. The mixtures, however, are as spot-on as one can get without a dyno and/or a WBO2. The plugs confirm its' good mixtures. I'm not worried, just annoyed. And I refuse to run the car at the track with only 10psi, so turning the boost down isn't happening. It doesn't even come alive until 12, and I'm thinking I can squeeze 18-20 out of it safely. ;-)
The bodywork on the SE was repaired entirely before I sold it (with correctly colored panels! :)), except the front bumper cover. I never got around to fixing that. I also fixed everything else, brought all of it's maintenance up to snuff, and added some old design iPd springs, KYBs and other goodies too before selling it. It looked and drove damn good. I wasn't looking to sell it, but $$$ talks. The new owner's wanted it, and paid through the nose for it.
I kept the pedestal mount rear wing, but the ducktail went with the car. I still have the other SE front bumper too, but I may have a deal worked out with another TB'er for both in trade for some other goodies.
