Anyone got a pic of a socketed EZK. I went to the p n p this morning pulled three ezk all from N/A cars and non of which had a socketed chip. Can anyone post a pic of what one looks like in case I'm a retard and just missed it?
Please let me know.
Thanks

You have to go back to about 1988 to find them.

There may be some chippable EZK boxes from '88 as well. They started to use LH2.4 in late August '88.
Would having a crank bell housing sensor be the giveaway for 2.4, or did they put out 2.4 with dizzy mounted hall sensors?
I have a lateish 88 740230ft that is registered as an 89 but the seat belts and everthing else scream 88. It also has a hall sensor.
I'm curious...

89+ n/a cars are LH 2.4
88-89 turbo cars are still LH 2.2
