I have a bracket for the power steering pump for a non-AC car. I also have a collection of bolts, and one bracket. I also have the pump and brackets and all associated hardware from a 240 turbo with AC. I need to figure out how to mount the pump. The problem is, it doesn't make sense to me! I played around with a few things, but no dice.
I did a search, but all the pictures people posted in old threads are gone. I can make brackets, etc, if need be, but can anyone who has a good picture of a non-AC power steering pump and bracket mounted on a car post it up? It'd be a big help!
If you don't have pictures, I'd love a detailed description of the mounting as well. That may help me.
Thanks!
Aaron

i dont have pictures, but i can try to help with some words.
First off, you have the aluminium bracket the bolts to the block in place of that big heavy red plate. then you have the two pump mount brackets. these are different then the PS/AC brackets. the pump should sit upright, just like before, and tilt ever so slightly away from the block. im hoping someone chimes in with pictures, because i know i probably didnt help much.

I did a lengthy search of galleries last night, and found a picture, but it doesn't show good detail.
It sounds like I am missing one pump mount bracket. I only have the "rear" one. How does the tensioner work? I have the piece that mounts to the block bracket, but I don't know how it attaches to the pump for tensioning. Is that part of the "front" pump mount bracket that I'm missing?

That's a great close-up. It looks like I might have to make my own bracket for the front, so a few more angles would be great, if anyone has them. ;)

Bruno! You really came through with lots of angles. Thanks for the help!
If you have any shots of the brackets alone, blkapln, that'd be great too. I think I'm gonna have to fab up a bracket for the front of the pump. I don't apparently have one.
Thanks guys!
