Hi everyone, I have just bought my first 850 T5 and it is brilliant!! It has a small problem though, I attempted to service it my-self but i overfilled it with oil by about 1/2 litre. I drove it about 5 miles before i realised and emptied some out. since then when i start it up it puffs out a large amount of blue smoke!! it does clear after about 1 minute of driving but its a bit worrying??? also i have a reciept for a `turbotechnics` spx turbo, which was fitted about 3 years ago, it boosts at about 8 - 10psi. Just wondering if a `boost-valve` would be a safe enough way for taking the boost up to 14-16psi? Any advise would be great, Thanks, Tom.

Perhaps it's just a coincedence? Blue smoke usually means a blown turbo or seals. Perhaps that extra oil could be backing up? Eh, maybe not. That's all I can think of right now.

Service the PCV system. Its a pretty typical sign of a plugged breather. You have to remove the intake but its an easy job for the average do it yourselfer. The only "hidden" bolts are the 2 that attach underneath the intake. I never put em back in on my cars.

Dont run more than stock boost with out using either a wideband and/or a chip.

Wideband over and above a boost? I always thought that a narrow AFR was enough on the rwd's... are the 850's more prone to fuel problems at higher boost?
