Been told on a certain big cousin to Volvo that only about 240bhp could be gotten outa a T25 before they were overspeeding the turbine shaft.
A "hybrid" T28 was good for a bit more.
Why bother???

my t25 just dynoed at 12 psi on stock motor b230f, m cam and made 170 whp......

there is probably plenty room left, although the air temps were +40 degrees F at that point.... (stock intercooler)

T25 sits between a 13c and the T3.

On a lower compression FT block, the T25 still feels laggy. It's got more upper rpm potential than the 13c, but you'd have to do a cam swap to something better than a T-cam to make use of that.

It's well suited to a higher compression F+T setup, however.
