I raided all 4 crazy rays yards today
searched close to 80 volvo's
got 3

so if your in dc and need one, i would bother with rays for like 2 weeks until they get some new stock in....

DC crew should note at the yard on Erdman Ave in baltimore
there are 2 940 turbo's with complete 92+ style intercooler setups
both off them still had all the ic hoses + pipes + intercoolers + e-fans + radiators + radiator hoses + AC condensors + ac lines...
basicly for ~$100 you could update your turbo to the 92+ style in one go

nice ... i happen to also have 3 chipable boxes here @ my place also .. tho one is a rare turbo EZk box that is chipable

Way to go! They are out there, but sure aren't common if you had to search 80 cars. I noticed that they are all pink label versions. What are the last three digits of the Bosch numbers on them?

they are all 146 boxes
they all have pink lables
the chippable 146 that i found about 4 months ago that is in my car now was also a pink labled 146

all 4 of them also have a shinny silver lable under the pink bosch lable that says "810"
every 146 box i have found has been chippable, if i found a box and it was not a 146 it was not chippable

this has included 152, 148, 209, 169 and some others

Thanks, I've also been slowly searching for one and have looked at 148, 169, 152. No EPROMs in any I've checked but I haven't looked for a 146 yet.
