Looks a bit like an old Toyota Land Cruiser.

That looks sweet.
On the down side, that is about the worst engine ever in a Jeep, and there are no pictures of the suspension butchery.
Both of these could be good, but definitely need a thoro inspection.

That could be sweet with rims, and quite a bit of work. Id also swap in a Limited interior, not that old school base model garbage.

So basically it's just a Volvo body over a Jeep?

That's a lot of work and it's a good job. But if you're gonna go to all that trouble why leave that crappy GM 2.8L in there? Oh well, it's still a very nice job.

you think that was made by the same guy that made the cover car 245 thing a few months ago?

I don't like the Jeep dash but I guess keeping it must have really simplified the wiring. It's a nice concept and seems to be pretty well executed.

GM 60 degree V6s aren't any worse than a PRV.

I'd swap in the I6 4.0. Those things are rock solid. My mom put 240K miles on her 93 (?) Cherokee with the I6. Did remarkably little to it over that during the 10 years she had it too, the motor and rest of the drivetrain has never been apart. Just the usual wear and tear items, lots of front rotors (some sort of problem with those), suspension bushings, repair the odd rat chewed wire. They live in the country, down a 3/4 mile gravel road that itself is probably more off roading 90% of Jeeps ever see. She just recently got sick of it (didn' wear out) and got ...

a Chevy HHR???
*shrug*
Her previous car was a 1983 diesel Rabbit, 5 spd manual. That thing clocked over 220K miles without wearing out too, before she got sick of it and got the Jeep.
