so, being that whenever i drive my car for longer than 45 minutes my ears ring, i decided to get a new muffler. i went out and bought this thrush turbo muffler today. i went to cut off the fart can, and i decided to start the car up. it is loud with pretty much only a cat. i'll have the muffler hopefully put on tomorrow.

the second one is from about 25/30 mph to around 100. yes its slow. yes, i need a turbo.

oh, and i went to see snakes on a plane tonight, and the showing was at 10:15. i got off of work at 10, and was running late, so i had to drive a bit fast. so i pull into the parking lot quickly...tires chirping and such and park the car real fast. i'm walking up to the doors to the theater, and two cops are walking towards me. i was scared for a second. then, they were like "man......that was a volvo?" and "i thought you were going fast, but you weren't" it was pretty funny.

haha you need new shocks too. that car bounced a lot when you got in it

I've decided that, for those of us who still need moar turbo, we can't go fast. we can go "less-slow"

i dont know. i push this car pretty hard. its crazy its lasted this long with me driving it like this.

haha i think they are the original shocks from '85.

mine were orignal from 88.....pretty bad shape :-P

mine were original from 1982. the rears anyways. i could compress them with my hands and one wouldnt even rebound. it just stayed compressed. ridiculous.

yea, i wish the cop said "its a volvo you couldnt have benn going fast" the last time i got pulled over........1500$ and 6 months no license......yea, that was dumb.....if it wasnt for bad luck, id have none.....
sounds prety good tho! i can relate to the ears ringing, try driving a rotary with headers comming out of the hood. it puts a harley to shame!!!

i finally got around to putting that muffler on. it sounds pretty good, imho. now, i'm wondering if i should paint it black or not....

definitely. once i sell my truck and get that ticket behind me, i'll be using the leftover money on a +T
