I don't know if you guys are into Volvo Club events, but there is going to be a SCVCOA meet/show at Bozzani Volvo in Covina on Nov. 15th.

We could meet early for breakfast, hit the show and then take a cruise up Azusa Canyon (Highway 39, San Gabriel Canyon Road).

Glad I'm not the only one! I just moved so It's been a bit tough to scare up 35 bucks for my fiancee and I to join. Anyone here a member of the SDVSA? www.sdvsa.org Might be a good time to get all the local Volo people out and about.

There are no membership dues for SCVCOA. You must be thinking of VCOA. And it's $30 USD per year... not $35.

Also, membership in a Volvo club is not required to participate in a car show. Never has been.

I've got to move back to Cali... I feel misunderstood here where I am now... what a drag on my life... cannot go to any meet without taking a week vacation... :-(
why am I punished?

It takes a lot of planning and vacation time, but it's possible to attend meets from forsaken places and even Indiana. I know two southern Californians that drove separately to the Niagara Falls meet at the end of August.

Thanks for the clarification Dave! I thought that was neccesary. I can just sign up on the SCVCOA site then?

I still do want to join VCOA with my Girlfriend (who got me into Volvos) and I thought it was $5 extra every person on one membership.
