found my old 13c that i pulled off my 91 18months ago when i did the 15g conversion
the comp housing cleaned up real nice

Ported the turbine hosing so it should flow far far better than stock when i finish porting the collector to match
this is before i smoothed it out

tho i think the term ' polishing a turd' fits in haha the ported 13c housing on my car did a fair amount of good way back when

yeah... its definetly far to small but a heck of alot better than it was before i molested it.
but i'm going to be curious to see how it runs once its all back together
I think you had previously said that 13-14psi was the efficiency limit on the 13c?

15psi might be the max i'd run with a redline of 5k rpm
boost is almost instant tho .. really nice

youll need more supporting mods, like water injection, a better intercooler, etc, to cope with the heat a 13c throws out above 14psi. i gotta get off my ass and finish porting this 13c that is on my desk. soooo close!

you have been planning your +t for longer than i can remember
I wouldn't want to run a 13c above 14psi.. there really isn't a point
the cost of the supporting mods far exceeds the cost of a 16/18t
the APC i'm tossing onto it is going to be set to 10psi until i get the chips into it, then i'll go to 13

13c isn't goin in my car, and won't run any more than 14psi when it goes back in, but you're right...i have been planning (and planning....and planning) to do this swap since spring '04 :omg:
got a nice big ole turbo now, instead of the wancy little IHI i started out with :badboy:
my thinking behind the water/alc. inj is that it will come in handy no matter what, whether the 944t the 13c is going on has a 13c, 15g, 16t, whatever. plus, i have some wicked ideas on how to integrate it so the car keeps its sleeper status :lol:
