Well the vibration was really bad, when I first got it, steering wheel would bounce up and down pretty bad.

So far found the selling dealer I bought it from installed the new tires backwards. Had them dismounted and installed in the proper direction, had all fours balanced and the wheels with the most vibration put in the rear.

Replaced from brake rotors that were worn down pretty bad w/Brembo repl.

Replaced Transmission Torque Mount and the engine mount at the front of the engine.

Vibration is reduced by about 50 percent but still has a bit of excessive vibration. I know it should be a lot smoother.

Pretty soon I'm going to do the torque mount on the top of the engine, mine has a couple of cracks in it. I figure that could be part of the problem.

Since it does have 141K, I'm thinking it might also be balljoints and/or front control arm bushings.

Any ideas, sound like I'm on the right page?

Could be the control arm bushings - Get the delrin from Slater or the Powerflex urethane ones are good too - that's what I have.

Mmmm... Clean aluminum control arms FTW!

Or it could be the wheel bearings.

how hard are bearings to replace?

cool, thanks.

are those pretty easy and straight forward to replace? or do you need a press or need to do some special sh**?

The bearings are a PITA... you have to pull the axle and have the large reverse torx (WTF are those called?) to unbolt them. I think I had to drop the ball joint out too, but it's been a while.

The bushes are easy enough. I had mine pressed out (but I think you can burn the rubber out and beat the sleeves out. The urethanes I pressed in by hand - you grease the **** outta them first.

i have this same vibration..i've changed everything...tires, rims..., tierods, balljoints..wheel alignment, cv axles...i cant figure it out. does it sometimes seem like a suspension problem..then other times seem like a drivetrain...then sometimes a steering problem?? let me know what works out for ya...

Doesn't have any effect on my steering or suspension in my case. No clunks, play, problems with steering, handling or anything.

Just this damn vibration. It's kind of like an up and down shaking of the steering wheel so I'm really thinking in my case it's ball joints or those control arm bushings.

I'm going to replace the upper torque rod mount at the same time just in case.

Good luck figuring out your vibration as well. I'll let you guys know what happens.
