found this on craigslist, went and checked it out. He said he would use his AAA to get it towed over, even though the car runs great. The body is very strait and it doesnt have any rust. The odometer broke and he said the car has over 200,000 on it. It does need alot of cleaning and a nice claybar and wax. Anyways here are the pictures.

Drivers door handle isnt working (fixed)
Speedo and odometer dont work
very very dirty
needs brakes
taillights cracked
front airdam broken
needs shift knob
I am not good at driving standards

It also has a small tach and big clock. I already have a cluster out of another 240 with a big tach that I am going to swap. I am also going to add a voltometer and 5 bar oil pressure guage i got out of a turbo car.

I've seen worse, much worse, and that doesn't look too bad. Score on the aluminum cache, that should off set the cost of repairs.

It really bugs me not knowing how many miles a car has on it.

Looks too bright, but is it color code #600 (shell white)? It looks too dull/dark for #189 (white).

It's a twin to my '87 5spd with blue cloth. Those are the best seats for wear. All the ones I see in the junkyard have held up great, and so have mine.

I'm colorblind, but that looks like 189, which can be very dark sometimes.

it should clean up nice. the white is pretty brite. it just has a layer of filth and tree pollen on it. I am going to lower it, dual sways, paint all the trim, new shocks, exhaust, tune up, hydras and im done. maybe a nice lil stereo.

I made some progress with the car. Installed a new MC, Front rotors, calipers, pads. Put the coronas from my bertone on it. New spark plugs. It runs good. The paint is very nice too.

This is what it looks like before a claybar and polish

And this is the hood after.

I also pulled the interior and gave it all a good wash.

I also ordered some ebay taillights with circuit boards, sockets and lamps but I have a short in my l.h. parking lamp circuit. Every time I turn on the lamps the fuse pops immediatly.

I have searched but I will post somthing up in the maint/non perf. section.

Looks clean post more exterior pictures...

I'd flip it for a profit at $500

i will get some more exterior pictures once i get it all washed up. I really want to keep this car, but if I sell it I could get some more go fast goodies for my black car. Market looks pretty good for 240's. I might get around 1800-2000 for it if i fixed a few other minor things.
