volvo 3rd brake light and spoiler

I want to know is where can I find a stock rear 740 spoiler? I have seen them on some 740 gl. Has anyone put a cool looking spoiler on there 740 why I say this is I need a 3rd brake light because in 85 they did not come stock with them. I blacked out my back lights so before I get pulled over for a cop not seeing my brake lights I need to do something I am open to options.

not to be an ass... and i know that i am, but please call it a spoiler.... hearing it refered to as a wing makes me sick....

and to answer your question, ive seen alot of 850 spoilers used a that looked quite nice.

I saw a 940 the other day with the coolest volvo spoiler I have ever seen... yea thats about it...

Maybe go to a volvo dealer and ask the parts counter... :rofl:

You can use 850 wings on 740 but, you must makr the wing wider.

My 940 Spoiler was a dealer installed option back in 1992. It changes the look of the whole car and I often have people at gas stations ask me what kind of Volvo that is because they don't recognize the model. They often say it looks sportier than most Vs. One time I pointed to a 940 at another pump and told the inquisitive one its just like that one. They were stunned because the cars looked so different. The only difference is the spoiler. Makes a huge difference. Now if I can only get a black egg crate grill.
