Hello, I'm Bailey in the SFBay Area, and I drive an '88 245 DL (NA)

It's got the B230F Engine that we all know and love with 170k miles, a 5 speed, and Bilstein HD Shocks all around.

I have two 4" Infinity speakers and two 4" Jensen Speakers...no, I didnt pick out the jensons and they will probably be replaced with 5.25" Infinitys, the Sony Grilles fit best and came with the car when I got it. Next audio upgrade after 5.25" speakers might be a Kenwood 6.5" sub, otherwise, I wont touch my audio system.

Below is before the new Headunit...the garmin mount was bolted on before I got the car, too bad I dont have a matching unit for it.
The interior is in pretty good condition for its age, but the dash has the usual cracks, nothing the dashmat ($14 from junkard) didnt fix.

My next performance upgrade will probably be some 25mm sway bars and I might put sport exhaust on when it comes time for my current exhaust to be replaced, and Toyo tires when the tires I have need replaced. I dont plan on putting any major engine upgrades in unless they will boost my MPGs.

Brakes are good for now, but if I ever have to replace the rotors, and if the car is still what I want when that time comes, I'll probably put some Zimmerman Drilled Rotors on.

As for Aesthetic upgrades, I plan on replacing my taillights with non faded or cracked ones, the Euro Corner lenses will be replaced with non cracked ones. I may do some paint touchup, but I'm not making promises there.

Other than my Volvo, I enjoy Mountain Biking, Photography, and PC Games...

Yeah, I had some on my '90 245 Blue...I wish I swapped rotors before I sold that car.

If it's not, let me know, eh?

What I meant was, "if I dont drive it into the ground by then" Dont get your hopes up...this car might outlive us all.

Whereabouts in the bay area?

Mid-Peninisula. There's quite a few of us in the bay area/sac/santa cruz. Check out the Norcal Volvos site too, if you haven't seen it yet. http://ncvolvos.boardsxp.com/ It's been pretty dead lately, though.

Clean car! Turbo in the future?

Not in this car. 0-60 in sometimes is fast enough for me.

One day I wanna do a V8 swap, but I'll probably grow out of that desire...all or nothin ya know?
