After driving her through the snow and not washing her for a while (burr, last time I did it was 31 degrees outside....and then I realized I should wait until it warms up  ), she needed to be washed.
Snapped some pics. Everytime I look at her I fall in love with her all over again. :) :) :)

Yeah, I had to pick it up so I could make the 242 a fulltime project. :)

Car looks gorgeous; what kind of springs do you have on there? How much lower is it from stock height?

I like it, but you NEED 7" rounds and a flathood. Four square lights? Hurl!

Yeah, I think you are alone there buddy. I love the four squares. Its the true classic look for the 240s IMO. I personally kinda sorta passionately hate the rounds. They clash with the sexy square lines of the car.

They are cut stock springs, and I don't know how high it used to ride, but it was pretty bad. This picture (http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/7402/inc3pt24508pl0zs7.jpg) with the Hydras should give you an idea (Yes, they're 16's, but the whole wheel diameter should be pretty close)
Lookin' good as usual, Tye. Where are the pics of the 242? ;)

Thanks Doug and Richard. :) Explanation of the 242 below.

I do actually really like the 7" rounds. I chopped this picture (http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1075/my245copyaj2.jpg) of my old wagon (because this was what I was planning to do to this wagon)
The thing is, after painting the grill and headlight surrounds black, I really like it this way too. I've had a tough time deciding. IMO, both are sexy, but the 4 squares are staying for now.
As for the 242  I've decided that I want so much more for the 242 and that I want to do it big, do it right, and do it that way the first time. Not make it decent, then slightly better, and so-on. Because of that, it doesn't fit my budget anymore, and I have to wait and save up money. I'm getting tired of not having a play car, but I'm really trying to stick to my plan of making it the ultimate sex the first time around. :sad panda:

About the Headlights.. I dunno personally I think the best look for it would either be square E-code or

I love angel eyes, but I think that the quad rounds on 240's look weird, because there's so much space around the actual lights. They look like they weren't meant to be there...that's just IMO though.

Like your 242 with the 2 rounds, the first 244 i ever owned was the same color, Cimmaron red brown. That color name has always stuck with me for some reason. That is the only car of the at least 150 i have had in my posession that was that color and that was 20 years ago.... :volvo: tomwas

Loooking good Tye.(Fake Edit: Christ on a stick, Imageshack was being slow to upload. If the pictures are giving anyone trouble, post and I'll try to find a different host.)Why don't you put them up in your OVT gallery? Well, actually, OVT's server isn't the most reliable. Someday we'll switch to Pat's server.
