They are 16x8 and 16x9 enkei's. Not sure on the offset yet but its a rwd offset, came off of a ferrari 308. Same guy had some 16x9 0 offset bbs's for sale a few weeks ago. Liked them a little better but these are def. more unique. He's asking $720 shipped.

I kind-of like the 5 spoke ferrari wheel better. Centers painted black would be sweet though.

if you can rock the red or are willing to paint then id say go for it, the centers even look like theyre about the same size as virgo caps. red mesh is sweet especially with a dark grey or black car

Yeah its a 740 wagon as seen in this post a couple threads down... http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=89569.
I emailed him back about the offset last night. Only negative is that the wheels i have mounted now, while not exact, are a bit similar in style. And these are only 1 in bigger than the current 15's. It is a good deal though.

These are the bbs wheels he had for sale last week, but i got out bid in the last second, litterally the last second of the auction.

He said the center piece is centered from front to back, which i believe makes them a 0 offset. Would that push them too far to the outside? I havent decided yet if i'm going to buy them. If i dont i'll give his info to anyone interested, but you would have to be serious. I dont want to waste this guys time or mess up my "hook-up" :oogle:

They went for $680 which is a bloody good deal in my opinion. I was the high bidder with 2 seconds left and i had them for $570 i believe until that bastard came in at the end ha. If i didnt have my current set of wheels that i paid a lot to get refurbished i probably would have put a bid of $1000 to really make sure i would have won them.

If you read the thread, you'd know they're going on a black 740... :-P
Bluesteel, those wheels are different... Not nearly as good, and not only because of the width, IMO. Nice color car though, looks similar to one that I know very well...

D_vs_C,
I love those rims on that car...very sweet setup...
You can still get new rim halves from BBS Racing...also there are ads in Classic Motorsports, Grassroots and other mags that have ads for spare spun outter sections...same goes for those Epsilons, you might get lucky if you post a WTB ad

i really wish we had concrete offset numbers. in the rear, 16x9, anything between et 5-10 would work just fine on the 7 or 9, and knowing what we know now, anything ~et20 and down to about et10 would be perfect in the front. does the guy know if there are any labels or stampings about the offsets? i REALLY like the red enkeis

They are pretty close though. The only difference in the center section is where the mesh pattern comes to a point by the wheels bolts. The red ones have a more defined point.

Yeah, your's basically have a smaller diameter center section, and I much prefer the larger diameter center section.
I also just noticed that the red ones and the gold ones are different wheels, too!

Update! I eneded up buying the gold bbs wheels off of him. 3 16x8 and 2 16x9. Yup i get an extra front wheel. They are off of a 1975 308 that only had 1200 miles on it. So they are pristine to say the least. Hopefull i'll get them next week.
Hopefully they will be stamped somewhere with the offset. He told me he measured the wheels from the inside face that would touch the hub. He said from there it is equidistant from the front edge and rear edge of the rim. Same thing with the red mesh wheels. He told me he is going to list the red ones on ebay soon so i'll let those who are seriously intrested know.
As for tire sizes i'm not sure. How bad would be it be stretching 215/40 on the front wheels and maybe 225/40 on the rears? I think the 225 on the rear might be a push but the 215 on the front should be alright. Figured if i strech some tires on i might get a little extra space. I also might try a 225/40 up front and a 245/35 in the rear. Found a good shop to pull the front fenders too if need be :)

The 245/35/16 Toyo T1-R looked like a nice size for a low car. It's shorter than 205/50/15. I think you might be able to fit a more normal 245/45 rear tire though. For the front, go at least with 225/45.
Is he shipping them with tires?

Since re-polishing the lips, they look 1000x better, even with some wear and age on the gold paint.

Here's my mesh I installed a few months ago on my 88 745t. The tires are Toyo Proxies T1-S 245-35-18 , BBS 18X8 35 ET, H&R 25MM adaptor/spacers. Ideal would be 20MM adaptor/spacers front and rears. Has a great stance and looks very meaty from the rears.

I just got them today and they look really good, just need a little polishing and cleaning, and yes he sent them with old old original tires. Some oxidation on the center pieces so hopefully i wont have to powder coat them. They came with 205/55 and 225/50 on them. They are old ass pirelli but were never used basically, still have all the nipples/knobby rubber on them. Only thing that sucks is that some how they mounted one of the 205 on the 9in rim and one of the 225 on the 8in...so i guess that answered some of my tire stretching questions.
I'll probably test mount them this weekend but i think i want to wait until i get a hubcentric ring made before i drive on them since the Ferrari hub is 67mm (or 67.1 mm i have seen both but its only a small difference).
I'll probably try 225/40 up front and the rear i'm still debating between the 245/35 or 245/40.

That's hot! The wheels i just got have a 3in lip in the rear but its stepped and not flat like yours, which i believe they call a reverse lip? Not fully down with the wheel lingo yet so not sure :)
