Hi fellas...My name is Mike and I just joined today... I would like to get to know some people so if you want to tell me a little about yourself.

I live in Canada

I built a 242GT, with a turbo engine, VX cam, bigger turbo, etc its in my sig. I think I can safely say I was the first to incorporate MegaSquirt on this board (as a regular member)... I freaked out at the stupid Volvo life style over the summer, and sold EVERYTHING I had. Then all sorts of bad stuff happen, and I now have a 91 740 as a daily driver, and a 142 as a project car. I'm a student, and disliking school, think I might drop out for a while... Get a job, put some money into my cars.

my cousin Robbie dropped out of highshool and has a black 2001 c70... he is doing pretty good for himself id say. im not going to drop out though.

Maybe someone here has seen my cousin before because he is really active in shows and things.. anyone heard of Robbie Nacarato??

I dropped out of HS, but went back, finished up... Now I'm in Universtiy, living through the absolute worst month a bit of my life.... Might be time to take a bit of time off or somthing...

I live in White, which is in Bartow County. I'm about 5 miles east of I-75 on GA Hwy 20.
My inlaws are into the Volvo thing real hard. They got me into it. Bro in law is in Dallas GA and dad in law in in Down Town Acworth.
They are both members here but keep pretty quiet.

We need to get off our collective asses and have a meet here in the Atlanta area.

I'm sorta new here too but I've been driving Volvos a long time. :-D See sig. I keep 'em stock pretty much. I haven't messed with the inards of a car in over 30 years. K, so I'm not 18!

The old ride is likey to turn into a restoration project that my son and I will tackle together. Mechanically, it's pretty sound except for the turbo and cat converter. Needs a cosmetic face lift in a big way, especially the seats.

My daughter is freakin out on the Volvo lifestyle. Think's the car is not cool. What does she know. She is only 13. :e-shrug:

Just to make her happy, we test drove a 04 XC70 and 04 V70. Still like the 245 better tho there's nuthin wrong with those cars.
