Well, per socal VS'rs last mini meet  , we thought it would be cool to do a super long cruise/road race. We start out in palm desert and end up in San Diego. I hear that there are a number of other car groups that have been notified of this event as well, and it would be nice to see "Bricks in Numbers" B) I know you guys are out there, and with all that well spent tax return money (for mods), are dying to test your cars new limits. It should be a fun cruise/road race. There are lots of windy roads and am told that there are tons of photo op spots. Police issues should be at a minimum since we are using roads that rarely get uses (or so ive been told). Here is a mockup map that Ive created of the route. I used yahoo maps Beta. So if you click on the link and get nothing. Just choose the High speed/Beta version of yahoo maps and retry the link. Ill post up HQ PDFs of the exact route when I get hope using MS Streets and Trips.

Oh man... my old stomping grounds! Any idea for a date? (I must to prepare teh volv0e!)

Also, if I may suggest... we should head into San Diego proper to end the trip. Unless someone has some ideas for hotels down there near the border. Plus, as long as we end up on the 8 anyway, we could all head in to Dave and Busters (in Costa Mesa? cant remember- it's right off the 8, maybe 3 or 4 miles from Jack Murphy stadium [**** Qualcomm :-P ]) for dinner/ a beer or two/ video gaminess.

Dieselboy: you're in Ramona? I grew up there! Cool stuff.
