which cyls are low?

i need a $270 windshield. $500 worth of wheels and tires, and then who knows how much to get the rev limited wot shifting trans issues figured out

cyls 1 and 2.

the compression tester we used is inaccurate, but its consistently inaccurate. pete estimates 150 155 165 170 for my cyls.

ive got full glass coverage...and my windshield has a 'scratch' in it from when my wiper failed that one time. If they'll let me keep the old one and you want it that might save you a bit of money?:e-shrug:

gah no i want new clean glass .. after looking out new glass i will never want anything but that

and sorry but you do NOT have low compression you have HIGH compression in two cylinders ... as in lots of carbon build up or blow by letting oil in the cyl raising the pressure

time for a seafoam cleaning ... wanna do that when you drop off the parts?

AND for a mini meet looks like this weekend i will be doing an exhaust on the v8 SO anyone wanna come over and hang out? i could sure use some help checking out chris's 780 to figure it out and maybe a spare hand here or there to help me sort out the garage

yes, lets have a meet, just as long as its not the week of the 11th, I'll be out of town most likely. Well, at least the first half of the week.

estrella war is this weekend. so my plans from thursday evening to sunday afternoon consist of battle, booze, drum beats, wenches in bodices.

I'll prolly drop off the exhaust parts tuesday. methink's seafoam will have to wait until next next weekend:oops:

wtf what about me dude!? if sea foam clears up some or all of my compression issues it might be nice to give a good baseline of what fredchips brown tops and a 15g will do. especially since these are very attainable upgrades.

CAPT BLOTTO- They my buddy's shop does head rebuilding, which usually includes vlave grinding. You need a head rebuilt?

Lucky- My bad dude, didnt think the 940 was a playa :) what are you gonna do with your current motor once you get the 16v put in?

well, the 940 DID post a 14.1, which as far as i know is the second fastests volvo in arizona:-P if thats not playa as you put it, i dont know what is;-)

the engine I just got for my 16v project has what i think is a good 530 head, so if sea foaming doesnt fix things a head swap might be in order (means i can fix that missing exhaust manifold stud issue too)this assumes i dont have horribly cratered pistons and bad rings of course:oops:

once the 16v goes in the car tho, it means ive got an extra 93 block I can clean up and have ready just incase i ever grenade the engine:-P...or sell it, or make a nice 8v 242 rally project...whatever:)

After 21st, but I'll be so busy and won't be able to work on anything 'til 2 weeks after that.
I don't trust those cv joints, they make noise whenever I turn.
