This is for the AW70/71 ?? Isn't there a Volvo green book on them with complete rebuild???

A little advice: for scanning in black and white pages, scan in grayscale not colour, crank up the contrast a bunch, and adjust the brightness and gamma appropriately. I'm doing that, and then converting to indexed colour, and saving them as PNGs (to make further retouching less painful) and the resulting files are about 30%-50% smaller than the original JPEGs (as well as being more legible).

When this is all done, there'll be a PDF for everyone to download as well.

Edit: Should cover the "Vovo" AW55, AW70, AW70L, AW71, and AW72-L, as well as the equiv. Toyota trannies and a few others.

And, as usual, if anyone has some green books they'd be willing to part with for a few weeks, I'm more than willing to scan them in and stick them up on my site.
