Looking good Doug, though I'm skeptical about the lack of lip on those wheels. I'm having a hard time seeing those on the car in my head...

Nice :) What exactly is that front valance? I had no idea they did a factory one. It looks very similar in style to the one I have for a -1981 343.

cheers

I've got one like that in my garage. With my front end sitting so low, I couldn't see using it without tearing it off on the first speed bump I went over. And it wouldn't line up properly on my front end. I think my front end is a little crooked though...:-(

Yep, this came from the same "source" as your 'glassed fenders :-D It MIGHT hang to low for me when I finish the car too :oogle:

Two questions: 1) What do you (Alex) mean "lack of lip"? 2) What kind of wheels are those, and where did you (Doug) get them? I am interested in how they work on your 120.

My buddy snagged them off ebay. Honestly, it cost me about 1/2 of what it would cost me to have them built new from Work so I can deal with the slightly less lip than a true RWD offset would have. Atleast I know these will clear any brakes I do once I put the spacers on :-D

what is the Willwood tandem cylinder part number?
what the hell- how is your break set up? and parts? what'd you use?
is there a vented rotor upgrade from anyone?

My mistake, I should have said "dish" instead of lip. I mean how the spokes almost protrude past the outer rim of the wheel, with almost no exposed area on the outer rim.

Looks like work vs-xx. If they are I bet you spent a huge amount of money on those. Work will make most of their wheels in 5x108, which is good for us.

I'll see if I can dig it up, I bought it second hand (but unused). Its going to get S60R brakes front and rear. Looks like we can make 140 hubs work pretty well (which are 5x108) and almost identical to 240 uprights for caliper mounting. The rear will be a 240 diff

Yep, Work VS-XX. They are FWD offset and I bought them "used". If I really want to once I know how my offsets lay out with the brakes I could get new barrels but honestly Im not sure to much lip will work the way I want for this car.

Interested in how you plan to do this. I tried. The spindles are different lengths. The 120 spindle is quite a bit deeper than the 140...

To answer the question about vented rotors on a 122...this is one way to do it...

Those rims are going to look tight. After seeing them next to the car in person I think those are going to be SWEET! That front valance is pretty tight too. Especially since it's a factory part.

Work is one of the few companies that make wheels in 5x108, but they cost a lot of money. I think those wheels new cost about $500 each.
