I decided to make little spoiler for my 1800ES. Never liked the look of ipd spoiler. Not sure about the holes, maybe I shod close them. Our will it look better under the bumper?
The car is under complete restoration.
Here the pictures, don't know how to post them.

Looks good Allan!
I say mount it how it is, don't fill in the holes.

this is just my view but 1800's really look best sans bumpers and thats it.

+1. That works really well with the lines of the car. It manages to make a statement without screaming "HEY! LOOK AT ME!" I love it.

I like it. I'd have a 240 one on my 145 if I didn't have a nice fiberglass one already.

That spoiler looks really good, I would fill the holes also, it will flow with the body better and give a nice lip like the R bumpers have.
here is a pick of a 1800 with some nice body work IMO. The car has a spoiler on the trunk... kinda sad.

I really like it. Want to do something like that to my 1800. I like the idea of filling the holes though. Or maybe mimicing the upper grill shape, just smaller and minus the chrome. I've been planning on turboing my car too. Just getting it back together has been a real process though.

all smooth will look better so no holes will probbly look smoother and follow the body lines better, you should makea mold of that 240 airdam outa fiberglass its to to hard and that way it will be better than just laying glass over the plactic somtimes plastic and glass dont bond well. but that 240 dam for sure looks at home on the front or that 1800 do it, it isnt to low or gawdy looks nice. the holes on the 240 are just more air for the radiator or a/c condenser if you have one. theres a pice of plastic guiding the air to the rad, or a/c condener so i would just fill it. i dono if you know how to make a mold but i think that would deffinatly be the way to go.

That is the great idea. Then I can make it the way I want it. I worked with 240 spoiler before and the fiberglass doesn't want to stick on it.
